  1. LORD JUSTICE CHADWICK: What we propose to do in relation to this application is to adjourn it to enable a complete transcript of the proceedings on 23 July 2001 before Jacob J to be produced. We do that in the circumstances that we have a transcript of part of the proceedings on 23 July, starting at a point at which Mr Abbas was plainly no longer in the Court. It may be that the missing portion extends not only to the period during which he was in Court, but also to some part of the period at which he was not. What we have is some nine pages of the afternoon. There is probably more.
  2. We propose therefore to direct that a complete transcript of 23 July be provided to Mr Abbas and to this Court at public expense and this application is adjourned until that transcript has become available.
  3. ORDER: Direction that a complete transcript of 23 July be provided to Mr Abbas and to the court at public expense; application adjourned until the transcript is available.
(Order not part of approved judgment)
