LIVE STOCK BREEDING ACT, 1925 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1925. | ||
WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 22 of the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (No. 3 of 1925), that the Minister for Lands and Agriculture may, by order, appoint a day to be the appointed day for the purpose of the Act, and the expression " the appointed day " when used in the said Act means the day so appointed : | ||
NOW I, the Minister for Lands and Agriculture, in exercise of the power conferred on me by the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (No. 3 of 1925), and of every and any other power me in that behalf enabling, do hereby order and appoint that :— | ||
(1) The appointed day for the purpose of the said Act shall be the thirtieth day of September, 1925. | ||
(2) This Order may be cited as the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (Commencement) Order, 1925. | ||
(3) The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. | ||
