WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY ACT, 1926. | ||
REGULATIONS IN REGARD TO WIRELESS RECEIVING LICENCES, 1927 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1934. | ||
I, GERALD BOLAND, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the power conferred on me by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1926 (No. 45 of 1926), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, with the consent of the Minister for Finance testified by his signature hereto, hereby make the following Regulations:— | ||
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Regulations in regard to Wireless Receiving Licences, 1927 (Amendment) Regulations, 1934. | ||
(2) The Regulations in regard to Wireless Receiving Licences, 1927 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 1 of 1927), the Regulations in regard to Wireless Receiving Licences (No. 2) 1927 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 54 of 1927), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Wireless Receiving Licences Regulations 1927 to 1934. | ||
2.—The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. | ||
3.—The Regulations in regard to Wireless Receiving Licences, 1927 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No 1 of 1927), are hereby amended by the deletion of Regulation 1 and by the substitution therefor of the following Regulations:— | ||
"1.—The fee for a licence to keep and have possession of receiving apparatus for wireless telegraphy in any specified place in Saorstát Eireann or to keep and have possession of such apparatus in any specified ship or other vessel or aircraft shall be the sum of 10/-per year." | ||
and the said Regulations shall be construed and have effect accordingly. | ||
4.—These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of October, 1934. | ||
