PRICE CERTIFICATE (FORM) REGULATIONS, 1938. | ||
THE PRICE CERTIFICATE (FORM) REGULATIONS, 1938, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE ON THE 16TH DAY OF MARCH, 1938, PURSUANT TO SECTION 5 of THE CONTROL OF PRICES ACT, 1937 . | ||
WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 5 of the Control of Prices Act, 1937 , that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may make regulations in relation to any matter or thing referred to in the Act as prescribed or to be prescribed. | ||
AND WHEREAS the matters to which these regulations relate are referred to in sub-section (1) of Section 39 of the said Act as prescribed. | ||
NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Industry and Commerce in exercise of the power conferred on him by Section 5 of the Control of Prices Act, 1937 , and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling makes by this Order the following regulations, that is to say:— | ||
1. These regulations may be cited as the Price Certificate (Form) Regulations, 1938. | ||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these regulations. | ||
3. In these regulations the expression "the Act" means the Control of Prices Act, 1937 (No. 26 of 1937). | ||
4. For the purposes of sub-section (1) of Section 39 of the Act every price certificate shall be in the form set out in the Schedule and the prescribed particulars shall be those indicated by the said Form. | ||
