		S.I. No. 33/1948: MERCHANT SHIPPING ACT, 1947 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1948.
		MERCHANT SHIPPING ACT, 1947 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1948.
		I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1947 (No. 46 of 1947), hereby order as follows :--
		1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Act, 1947 (Commencement) Order, 1948.
		2. The Merchant Shipping Act, 1947 (No. 46 of 1947), shall come into operation on the 30th day of January, 1948.
		GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 26th day of January, 1948.
