EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 320) ORDER, 1944 (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1948. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows: |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 320) Order, 1944 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1948. |
||
2. The Emergency Powers (No. 320) Order, 1944 (S. R. & O. No. 156 of 1944), is hereby amended, as on and from the 22nd day of September, 1948, by the exclusion, from the articles referred to at reference number 4 in the First Schedule, of the articles specified in the Schedule to this Order. |
||
SCHEDULE. |
||
The following articles mentioned at reference number 16 in the second column of the First Schedule to the Finance (Customs Duties) (No. 4) Act, 1932 (No. 34 of 1932), as amended by subsequent enactments: |
||
(I) the articles mentioned in paragraphs (a) and (b); |
||
(II) the articles mentioned in subparagraphs (1), (21), (22), (26), (31), (32), (40) and (49) of paragraph (d). |
||
