WATERFORD (EXTENSION OF HARBOUR LIMITS) HARBOUR WORKS ORDER, 1951. |

I, THOMAS F. O'HIGGINS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Part VIII of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and on the application of the Waterford Harbour Commissioners, hereby order as follows :-- |

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Waterford (Extension of Harbour Limits) Harbour Works Order, 1951. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on its being confirmed by Act of the Oireachtas. |
||
2. On and after the coming into operation of this Order, the limits of the harbour of the Waterford Harbour Commissioners shall be those set out in the Schedule hereto in lieu of the limits of the said harbour existing immediately before the coming into operation of this Order. |
||
3. All costs, charges, fees and expenses of or incidental to preparing and obtaining this Order or otherwise incurred in relation thereto shall be paid by the Commissioners out of their funds. |
||
4. Nothing in this Order shall be construed as affecting the rights, privileges, powers or duties of the River Suir Navigation Company. |

SCHEDULE. |
||
LIMITS OF THE HARBOUR OF THE WATERFORD HARBOUR COMMISSIONERS. |
||
So much of the river Suir and the estuary and tributaries thereof as lies within the flux and reflux of the tide and within the following bounds-- |
||
on and at the north-west, an imaginary straight line extending from a point one hundred feet westward from the centre line of the Pill dividing the townlands of Woodstown and Killoteran on the Waterford bank of the said river Suir and due north-west to a point in the townland of Licketstown on the opposite or Kilkenny bank of the said river and at the south or seaward side, an imaginary straight line extending from the Hook Lighthouse in the county of Wexford to the southernmost point of Swiny Head in the county of Waterford and at the junction of the river Barrow with the said river Suir, an imaginary straight line extending from the southernmost point of Drumdowney Point in the county of Kilkenny to the southernmost point of Kilmokea Point in Great Island in the county of Wexford. |
