DUBLIN PUBLIC ASSISTANCE AUTHORITIES (HEALTH FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1956. |
||
The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 45 and 46 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953), and section 7 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947), hereby orders as follows :-- |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Dublin Public Assistance Authorities (Health Functions) Order, 1956. |
||
2. In this Order " the principal order " means the Dublin Public Assistance Authorities (Health Functions) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 162 of 1954 ). |
||
3. This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of March, 1956. |
||
4. The principal order shall be amended by-- |
||
(a) the deletion of " cerebral palsy " in paragraph (b) of the definition of " specified institutional services " in Article 2 ; |
||
(b) the substitution of the Schedule to this order for the First Schedule to that order ; |
||
(c) the substitution of the following two paragraphs for paragraph 3 of the Second Schedule to that order : |
||
" 3. The General Institutional and Specialist Services Regulations, 1954 ( S.I. No. 100 of 1954 ), as amended by-- |
||
(i) the General Institutional and Specialist Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1955 ( S.I. No. 47 of 1955 ) and |
||
(ii) the General Institutional and Specialist Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1956 ( S.I. No. 43 of 1956 ). |
||
3A. Parts I and II of the Maternity and Child Health Services Regulations, 1954 ( S.I. No. 98 of 1954 ), as amended by-- |
||
(i) the Maternity and Child Health Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1954 ( S.I. No. 158 of 1954 ), |
||
(ii) the Maternity and Child Health Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1955 ( S.I. No. 48 of 1955 ) and |
||
(iii) the Maternity and Child Health Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1956 ( S.I. No. 44 of 1956 )." |
||
and the substitution of the following paragraph for paragraph 5 of that Schedule : |
||
" 5. The General Medical Services Regulations, 1954 ( S.I. No. 102 of 1954 ), as amended by-- |
||
(i) the General Medical Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1954 ( S.I. No. 159 of 1954 ) and |
||
(ii) the General Medical Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1955 ( S.I. No. 49 of 1955 ), |
||
with the modification that " the functional area of the local authority " shall be substituted for " county or county borough " in Article 9." |
