S.I. No. 29/1959:

OFFICE PREMISES ACT, 1958 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1959.

OFFICE PREMISES ACT, 1958 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1959.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Office Premises Act, 1958 (No. 3 of 1958), and having referred the proposals to which effect is given by the following Order to the Advisory Council, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Office Premises Act, 1958 (Commencement) Order, 1959.

2. The 1st day of April, 1959, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Office Premises Act, 1958 (No. 3 of 1958), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 28th day of February, 1959.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to bring the Office Premises Act, 1958 , into operation on the 1st April, 1959.
