HARBOUR RATES (FOYNES HARBOUR) ORDER, 1969.

HARBOUR RATES (FOYNES HARBOUR) ORDER, 1969.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby order as follows :

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Foynes Harbour) Order, 1969.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 30th day of December, 1969.

2. The Harbour Rates (Foynes Harbour) Order, 1955 ( S.I. No. 63 of 1955 ), shall have effect as if the following were added to the Third Schedule :

For the use of the Foynes Harbour Trustees' shed:

For the first 7 days

3s. 6d. per square yard per week or part of a week

or

9d. per ton per week or part of a week,

whichever is the greater

For the second 7 days

4s. 6d. per square yard per week or part of a week

or

1s. 0d. per ton per week or part of a week,

whichever is the greater

For any period after the second 7 days

6s. 0d. per square yard per week or part of a week

or

1s. 4d. per ton per week or part of a week,

whichever is the greater.

"

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to fix the maximum rates to be charged by the Foynes Harbour Trustees for storage of goods in their storage shed.
