NOXIOUS WEEDS (WILD OAT) ORDER 1973. |

I, MARK CLINTON, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1936 (No. 38 of 1936), and being satisfied as required by subsection (1) of that section, hereby order as follows: |
||
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Noxious Weeds (Wild Oat) Order, 1973. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 27th day of July, 1973. |
||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. |
||
3. The plant specified in Part I of the Schedule to this Order is hereby declared to be a noxious weed in the area specified in Part II of that Schedule. |

The area comprising the whole of the State. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The Order declares the Wild Oat (Avena fatua) to be a noxious weed for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1936 . |
