LOCAL GOVERNMENT REORGANISATION (SUPPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS) (DUBLIN) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1986.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 18 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 (No. 7 of 1985), hereby makes the following Regulations:--

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Reorganisation (Supplementary Provisions) (Dublin) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1986.

2. Article 3 of the Local Government Reorganisation (Supplementary Provisions) (Dublin) Regulations, 1985 ( S.I. No. 128 of 1985 ), as amended by the Local Government Reorganisation (Supplementary Provisions) (Dublin) (Amendment) Regulations, 1985 ( S.I. No. 418 of 1985 ) and by the Local Government Reorganisation (Supplementary Provisions) (Dublin) (Amendment) Regulations, 1986 ( S.I. No. 70 of 1986 ), is hereby amended by:--

( a ) the deletion in paragraph (a) of "until the 1st day of August, 1986", and

( b ) the deletion in paragraph (f) of ",until the 31st day of December, 1986".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide for the continuation in effect for the time being of certain provisions of the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Act, 1981 and of the School Attendance Acts, 1926 to 1967, in the added areas and in the excluded areas as defined in section 9 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 .
