The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 19 of the Social Welfare Act, 1991 (No. 7 of 1991), hereby orders as follows: |

| Citation. | ||

1. This order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1991 (Section 19) (Commencement) Order, 1992. |
||
| Commencement. | ||
|
2. Section 19 of the Social Welfare Act, 1991 shall come into operation on the 4th day of January, 1993. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
This order brings Section 19 of the Social Welfare Act, 1991 , which provides for the payment of unemployment benefit at reduced rates in the case of employees whose weekly earnings are below a prescribed amount, into effect from 4 January, 1993. |
||
