PRISONS ACT 1970 (SECTION 7) ORDER, 1993.

PRISONS ACT 1970 (SECTION 7) ORDER, 1993.

I, MÁIRE GEOGHEGAN-QUINN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (1) of the Prisons Act, 1970 (No. 11 of 1970 ), and after consultation with the Visiting Committee to Saint Patrick's Institution, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Prisons Act, 1970 (Section 7) Order, 1993.

2. The period of 2 years beginning on the 28th day of June, 1993, is hereby specified for the purposes of section 7 of the Prisons Act, 1970 (No. 11 of 1970).

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 25th day of June, 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order continues in operation Section 7 of the Prisons Act, 1970 for a further period of 2 years.
