I, NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister of State at the Department of Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 8 and 24 of the Wildlife Act, 1976 (No. 39 of 1976), the Wildlife (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 156 of 1987 ), and the Finance (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 101 of 1993 ) hereby order as follows: |

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) (Amendment) Order, 1993. |
||||||
|
(2) The Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Orders, 1979 to 1992, and this Order may be cited together as the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Orders, 1979 to 1993. |
||||||
|
2. In this Order "The Principal Order" means the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Order, 1979 ( S.I. No. 192 of 1979 ). |
||||||
|
3. The First Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the insertion of the following entry in Part I: |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||||||
|
The effect of this Order is to add the Curlew to the list of huntable species for the 1993/1994 Open Seasons from 1st November to 30th November, 1993, both dates inclusive. |
||||||
|
