ENTERPRISE AND EMPLOYMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1995.

ENTERPRISE AND EMPLOYMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1995.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Enterprise and Employment and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Enterprise and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1995.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Enterprise and Employment conferred on the Minister--

( a ) by or under the enactments specified in the Schedule to this Order and under any instrument made under any such enactment,

( b ) under the European Communities (Safeguarding of Employees' Rights on Transfer of Undertakings) Regulations, 1980 ( S.I. No. 306 of 1980 ),

( c ) by or under the Industrial Relations Acts, 1946 to 1990 (insofar as they relate to the enforcement of registered employment agreements within the meaning of section 25 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (No. 26 of 1946), and orders made under section 43 of that Act and section 48 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1990 (No. 19 of 1990)), and

( d ) by or under the Worker Protection (Regular Part-Time Employees) Act, 1991 (No. 5 of 1991) (except insofar as it relates to the Maternity Protection of Employees Act, 1981 (No. 2 of 1981)),

and hereby delegated to EITHNE FITZGERALD, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise and Employment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order delegates to Eithne Fitzgerald, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise and Employment, the Statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Enterprise and Employment mentioned in the Order.
