The Minister for Social Welfare in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 11 of the Social Welfare Act, 1995 (No. 3 of 1995), hereby orders as follows: |

| Citation. | ||

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1995 (Section 11) (Commencement) Order, 1995. |
||
| Commencement. | ||
|
2. Section 11 of the Social Welfare Act, 1995 shall come into operation on the 19th day of April, 1995. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
This Order brings section 11 of the Social Welfare Act, 1995 into operation with effect from the 19th of April, 1995. |
||
|
Section 11 provides for the payment of Adoptive Benefit, subject to certain PRSI conditions, to people granted adoptive leave under the provisions of the Adoptive Leave Act. |
