Protection of Employees (Part-Time Work) Act, 2001 (Commencement) Order, 2001

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Protection of Employees (Part-Time Work) Act, 2001 (No. 45 of 2001) , hereby order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the Protection of Employees (Part-Time Work) Act, 2001 (Commencement) Order, 2001.

2. The 20th day of December, 2001, is appointed as the day on which the Protection of Employees (Part-Time Work) Act, 2001 (No. 45 of 2001) , shall come into operation.

This Order appoints the 20th day of December 2001 as the day on which the Protection of Employees (Part Time Work) Act, 2001 (No. 45 of 2001) comes into operation.
