I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving further effect to Commission Decision No. 2011/44/EU of 19 January 20111 , hereby make the following regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Foot and Mouth Disease) (Restrictions on Imports from Bulgaria) (Amendment) Regulations 2011. |
||
2. The European Communities (Foot and Mouth Disease) (Restrictions on Imports from Bulgaria) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 12 of 2011 ) are amended, in Regulation 2(1), by substituting for the definition of "Commission Decision" the following |
||
" 'Commission Decision' means Commission Decision No. 2011/44/EU of 19 January 2011;". |

These regulations give further effect to Commission Decision No. 2011/44/EU of 19 January 2011 and concern restrictions on imports from Bulgaria due to the presence of Foot and Mouth Disease in that country. |
