I, JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 (3) of the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 17 of 2013), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013. |
||
|
2. The 23rd day of December 2013 is appointed as the day on which the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 17 of 2013) shall come into operation. |
||

This Order brings the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 17 of 2013) into operation. The Act amends Section 38 of the Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2002 (No. 6 of 2002) and repeals certain provisions of the Tobacco Products (Control of Advertising, Sponsorship and Sales Promotion) Act 1978 (No. 27 of 1978). |
