Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

"Iris Oifigiúil" of 4th July, 2014.

I, JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 25 (2) of the Public Health (Sunbeds) Act 2014 (No. 12 of 2014), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Sunbeds) Act 2014 (Commencement) Order 2014.

2. The 21st day of July 2014 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Public Health (Sunbeds) Act 2014 (No. 12 of 2014) come into operation:

(a) sections 1 to 5, 12 and 16;

(b) section 17 other than paragraph (l) of subsection (1);

(c) sections 19 and 22 to 25.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

This Order provides for the commencement of sections 1 to 5 , 12 , 16 , 17 other than paragraph (l) of subsection (1), 19 and 22 to 25 of the Public Health (Sunbeds) Act 2014 , with effect from 21 July 2014.
