I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 50 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014), hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) Regulations 2016. | ||
2. Part 4 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014) shall be applied in respect of all classes of qualified households with effect from 1 February 2016, by Galway City Council. | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE | ||
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation) | ||
Continuing the phased introduction of the Housing Assistance Payment scheme under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 , these Regulations provide that Part 4 of that Act will be applied in respect of all classes of qualified household by Galway City Council, from 1 February 2016. |
