Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 3rd June, 2016. | ||
I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Garda Síochána (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015 (No. 49 of 2015), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Garda Síochána (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015 (Section 17) (Commencement) Order 2016. | ||
2. The 31st day of May 2016 is appointed as the day on which section 17 of the Garda Síochána (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015 (No. 49 of 2015) shall come into operation. | ||
