Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Civil Liability and Courts Act 2004 (No. 31 of 2004) (as adapted by the Justice and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 138 of 2011 )), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Liability and Courts Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2017. | ||
2. The following sections of the Civil Liability and Courts Act 2004 (No. 31 of 2004) shall come into operation on 11 January 2017: | ||
(a) section 45; | ||
(b) section 46; | ||
(c) section 47; | ||
(d) section 48; | ||
(e) section 50; | ||
(f) section 51; | ||
(g) section 52; | ||
(h) section 53. | ||

This Order appoints 11 January, 2017 as the date on which sections 45 , 46 , 47 , 48 , 50 , 51 , 52 and 53 of the Civil Liability and Courts Act 2004 come into operation. |
