Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, CATHERINE MARTIN, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 20 (3) of the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 49 of 2021) (as adapted by the Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 403 of 2020 )), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2022. | ||
2. The 10th day of October 2022 is appointed as the day on which section 6 of the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 49 of 2021) shall come into operation. | ||
