(A)      The claimant’s holiday pay claim is well-founded and it is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £938 in respect of holiday pay.

 

(B)      The claimant’s claim for notice pay is well-founded and it is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £2,261 in respect of notice pay.

 

(C)     The claimant’s redundancy pay claim against the respondent is well-founded and it is declared that the respondent is liable to make a redundancy payment of £3,685 to the claimant.

  1. I announced my decision at the end of the hearing.  At the same time, I gave brief oral reasons for that decision.

 

2.  I was satisfied that SW Contracts was the trade name of an   

     unincorporated business which was owned and run by Stewart    

     Worthington and the title of the proceedings has been altered accordingly.

 

  1. This Decision is based on the following information:

 

Gross weekly pay: £335.01

 

Net weekly pay: £276.53

 

Number of actual completed years of service: 11

 

Age on date of dismissal: 40

 

Multiplier (for redundancy pay): 11

 

  1. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunal (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
