THE INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNALS
CASE REF: 4175/17
CLAIMANT: Stephen White
RESPONDENT: Marc Michael Whiteside
DEFAULT JUDGEMENT
The relevant time limit for presenting a response has expired. No response has been presented by the respondent. I have decided to determine the following claims without a hearing. I determine as follows:
(A) The claimant's notice pay claim is well-founded. It is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £1,959 in respect of notice pay.
(B) The claimant's redundancy pay claim is well-founded. It is declared that the respondent is liable to make a redundancy payment of £2,938 to the claimant.
In each instance, the amount awarded is in line with the amount which has been claimed (as distinct from being based on any assessment of the evidence).
This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
