AGRICULTURE (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1967 -
LONG TITLE

An Act to amend the law with respect to the valuation of
agricultural property for the purposes of rates; to amend or repeal
certain enactments relating to live stock breeding, agricultural
workers' wages and holidays, scutch mills and flax, the production
and sale of milk and milk products, the marketing of agricultural
produce and the drainage of land; and for purposes connected with
certain of the matters aforesaid.

2.Subs.(1), with Schedule 1, effects amendments

(2) Nothing in this section shall affect the amount of the fine
which may be imposed on conviction of an offence committed before
the passing of this Act.

SECT 19
Repeals and savings.

19.Subs.(1), with Schedule 2, effects repeals

(2) The repeal, taking effect by virtue of subsection (1), of any
enactment mentioned in Part I of Schedule 2 shall not affect the
application of that enactment in relation to holidays of any
description during any period falling between the date of such
repeal and the date of the commencement of the first order made by
the Agricultural Wages Board for Northern Ireland with respect to
holidays of that description, but during any such period that
enactment, in relation to such holidays, shall be deemed to continue
in force and shall have effect in all respects as if this Act had
not been passed.

(3) For the purposes of subsection (2), holidays such as are
described in each of the following paragraphs of the Schedule to
the Agricultural Workers' Holidays Act (Northern Ireland) 1956, that
is to say, paragraph 1, paragraph 2 and paragraph 6, shall be
treated as holidays of the same description.

Short title and commencement.

20.(1) This Act may be cited as the Agriculture (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Act (Northern Ireland) 1967.
