1.(1) For the purpose of maintaining and increasing employment, the Minister of Commerce (in this Act referred to as "the Minister") may, with the approval of the Minister of Finance, by order make provision for the payment by the Ministry of Commerce (in this Act referred to as "the Ministry") in accordance with the order, of contributions towards the cost incurred by registered persons [(a)in acquiring coal or oil; (b)in acquiring gas or electricity from a public gas or electricity undertaking; (c)in acquiring otherwise than from a public gas undertaking gas of such descriptions and in such quantities as may be specified in the order;] (2) An order made under this Act shall be subject to affirmative resolution.
