108.(1) There shall continue to be a body, to be known as the Northern Ireland Schools Examinations Council (in this Part referred to as "the Council"), which shall have such functions, in relation to examinations for pupils receiving secondary education and others, as are conferred on it by or under the succeeding provisions of this Order. (2) The Council shall be a body corporate, with perpetual succession, to which section 19 of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall, subject to the provisions of this Order, apply. (3) The constitution of the Council shall be as provided in that behalf in Part I of Schedule 13 and the supplementary provisions contained in Part II of that Schedule shall have effect with respect to the Council.
