MAGISTRATES' COURTS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1964 - SECT 141

1954 c.33

141.(1) A person ordered by a magistrates' court to enter into a recognizance
to keep the peace or to be of good behaviour or to keep the peace and be of
good behaviour may appeal to the county court and the order appealed against
shall not be suspended pending the determination of the appeal but shall,
pending such determination, have full force and effect.

(2) A party bound by a recognizance which is estreated by a
court of summary jurisdiction may appeal to the county court.
