PREFERENTIAL PAYMENTS (BANKRUPTCIES AND ARRANGEMENTS) ACT (NORTHERN
IRELAND) 1964 - LONG TITLE
An Act to consolidate the enactments relating to preferential
payments in bankruptcy and arrangement proceedings.{1}
[20th October 1964]
(4) In section 293 of the Irish Bankrupt and Insolvent Act 1857
and in section 112 of the Bankruptcy (Ireland) Amendment Act 1872
the word "dividend" shall include the amount of any debt to which
priority is given by section 1.

3. This Act shall bind the Crown to the full extent authorised or
permitted by the constitutional laws of Northern Ireland.

Application to Crown.
5.(1) This Act may be cited as the Preferential Payments
(Bankruptcies and Arrangements) Act (Northern Ireland) 1964, and shall
be construed as one with the Bankruptcy Acts (Northern Ireland) 1857
to 1929, and this Act and those Acts may be cited together as the
Bankruptcy Acts (Northern Ireland) 1857 to 1964.
