TOURIST TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1968 - LONG TITLE

An Act to amend the Development of Tourist Traffic Acts (Northern
Ireland) 1948 and 1963.

Interpretation.

TOURIST TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1968 - SECT 1

1. In this Act

"the Act of 1948" means the Development of Tourist Traffic Act
(Northern Ireland) 1948;

"the Act of 1963" means the Development of Tourist Traffic
(Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 1963;

S.2 amends ss.7,9 of 1963 c.4 (NI). S.3 rep. by 1971 c.6 (NI)

TOURIST TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1968 - SECT 4
Amendments as to registration of catering establishments.

4.(1) Notwithstanding anything in section 12(1) of the Act of 1948,
where the proprietor of any premises used as a catering
establishment makes an application to the Board for the registration
of those premises under that section for the financial year then
current, the Board may register those premises for that year.

(2) Where the registration of any premsies is effected by virtue of
subsection (1), the Board may direct that it shall have effect as
from such date (not being earlier than the date of the application
for registration) as they may specify.

Subs.(3) amends sch.2 to 1948 c.6 (NI)

Short title and citation.

5.(1) This Act may be cited as the Tourist Traffic (Amendment) Act
(Northern Ireland) 1968.

(2) This Act and the Development of Tourist Traffic Acts (Northern
Ireland) 1948 to 1963 may be cited together as the Development of
Tourist Traffic Acts (Northern Ireland) 1948 to 1968.
