NORTHERN IRELAND ASSEMBLY ALLOWANCES
The Allowances to Members of the Assembly (Winding up Allowance) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002

	Coming into operation	26th June 2002

The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3(3) of the Allowances to Members of the Assembly Act (Northern Ireland) 2000[1] and all other powers conferred on it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Allowances to Members of the Assembly (Winding Up Allowance) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002 and shall come into operation on the day after the Order is made.

Amendment of Winding up Allowance
2. In section 3(3) of the Allowances to Members of the Assembly Act (Northern Ireland) 2000, for "Ј11,617" there shall be substituted "Ј16,000".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order increases the maximum ceiling of the Winding Up allowance mentioned in section 3(3) of the Allowances to Members of the Assembly Act (Northern Ireland) 2000 from Ј11,617 to Ј16,000.
