EMPLOYMENT
Employment Relations (1999 Order) (Commencement No. 8) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005

The Department for Employment and Learning[1], in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999[2], and now vested in it[3], and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Employment Relations (1999 Order) (Commencement No. 8) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005.

Commencement
2. The following provisions of Schedule 7 to the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 shall come into operation on 24th September 2005 –

(a) paragraphs 3 and 6; and

(b) paragraph 4 to the extent that it inserts Article 9B into the Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into operation on 24th September 2005, paragraphs 3 and 4 (to the extent that it inserts Article 9B into the Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1981) and paragraph 6 of Schedule 7 to the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999. These paragraphs make amendments to Article 7 (Charges), Article 11(2) (Interpretation) and inserts into Article 9 (Offences: cost of investigation) a new Article 9B into the Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1981.
