The complainant requested information concerning an incident where personal data relating to the complainant had been disclosed by the public authority in error. The public authority refused this request on the grounds that it was vexatious. The Commissioner finds that the request was correctly refused as vexatious. The Commissioner also finds that the request was not responded to within the time limit of 20 working days. This breach does not necessitate remedial action. An appeal was made to the Information Tribunal but the Tribunal has ruled on this appeal and dismissed the appeal.
