Summary: The complainant made a request to the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) for copies of all documents, including emails sent and received by its employees, that made any mention of a named pathologist. The MPS refused to comply with the request on the grounds that the cost of compliance would exceed the appropriate limit. The Commissioner has investigated and finds that the MPS correctly cited section 12(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. He requires no further steps to be taken.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 12 - Complaint Not upheld
