Summary: The complainant has requested information about the composition of the audience of a particular episode of Question Time and the criteria used to choose it. The BBC explained the information was covered by the derogation and excluded by the Act. The Commissioner-™s decision is that this information was held by the BBC genuinely for the purposes of journalism and did not fall inside the Act. He therefore upholds the BBC-™s position and requires no remedial steps to be taken.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 1 - Complaint Not upheld
