Summary: The complainant requested the objectives set for the permanent secretary in each of the Northern Ireland government departments. The Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) refused to comply with the request, arguing that it was vexatious under section 14(1) of the Act. The Commissioner-™s decision is that OFMDFM correctly categorised this request as vexatious. Therefore OFMDFM was not obliged to comply with the request. The Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken.
