Summary: The complainant requested information from Southwark Council (the council) about the outcome of a review into the methodology for an increase in court costs and an explanation of any difference in methodology. The public authority refused to provide the information on the grounds that the request was vexatious. The Information Commissioner-™s (the Commissioner-™s) decision is that the council was correct to find the request vexatious. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2012/0064 allowed.
