Summary: The complainant made an information request following a decision by the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland (the PPS) that there was insufficient evidence to bring criminal proceedings in relation to a particular incident. The PPS said that it did not hold some information and refused the remainder of the request under sections 30(1)(c), 38, 40(2) and 41 of the FOIA. The Commissioner finds that the PPS responded appropriately and does not require the PPS to take any further steps.
