Summary: The complainant requested copies of MMR litigation documents that were used in the General Medical Council-™s (GMC) Fitness to Practice hearings concerning Andrew Wakefield and two others doctors. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the GMC relied correctly upon the exemption at s44(1) FOIA to withhold the information. This decision notice is currently under appeal to the Information Tribunal.
