Summary: The complainant has requested a copy of the information provided by Ofcom to the Home Office in response to its request for business cases for access to communications data. Ofcom refused to provide the requested information under section 36(2)(b)(i) and (ii) and section 36(2)(c) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). The Commissioner-™s decision is that Ofcom has correctly applied section 36(2)(b)(ii). The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
