Summary: The complainant has requested various information on the arguments put forward by Manchester Metropolitan University in relation to its application of section 36(2)(c) of the FOIA to another request that were summarised by the Commissioner in his Decision Notice FS50318502 dated 26 May 2011. The Commissioner-™s decision is that Manchester Metropolitan University has correctly applied section 14(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner therefore does not require Manchester Metropolitan University to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
