Summary: The complainant has requested information relating to the -˜Shape of Training Review-™. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the General Medical Council (GMC) has correctly applied section 36(2)(b)(ii) of the FOIA to the withheld information. However, he also finds that the GMC is in breach of section 10 of the FOIA, having taken 42 working days to respond to the request. The Commissioner does not require the GMC to take any steps as a result of this decision notice save to ensure future compliance with the timescales stipulated for a response within the FOIA.
