The complainant requested information concerning apologies received by the council for non-attendance at a meeting. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council failed to respond to the request and therefore breached section 10 of the FOIA. The Commissioner requires the council to take the following step to ensure compliance with the legislation. issue a response under the FOIA. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0177 dismissed.
