7 October 2015, Local government (Parish council)
The complainant requested from Rothbury Parish Council (the Council) various information relating to complaint procedures, records management and a contract for gardening services. The Council refused the requests as vexatious under section 14(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council cited section 14(1) correctly and so it was not obliged to comply with the complainant’s requests. This decision notice is currently under appeal to the Tribunal.
FOI 14: Not upheld
