The complainant has requested minutes of the oral evidence given to the Doctors and Dentists Remuneration Board (DDRB) during the recent review of doctors’ pay and contracts which took place in 2015. The Office of Manpower Economics (OME), withheld the information under section 36(2) – prejudice to the conduct of public affairs. The Commissioner’s decision is that the OME is entitled to rely on section 36(2)(b)(ii) to withhold the requested information. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any further action in this matter.
