14 July 2016, Local government (Borough council)
The complainant has requested various items of information in respect of summonses to the Magistrates Court in relation to Council Tax over a specified period. Gravesham Borough Council refused item three of the request on the basis of section 12 of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that Gravesham Borough Council has correctly relied on section 12 of the FOIA. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps.
