Government Actuary’s Department

The complainant requested information on any studies or advice provided to the government regarding Brexit. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Government’s Actuary Department (‘GAD’) has appropriately withheld the requested information in reliance of section 35(1)(a) FOIA – Formulation of government policy. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
